Municipality Rakovica is located along the main state road (D1, Zagreb-Split) that connects northern and southern part of Croatia and it is very well connected with the central and southern Croatia. The Municipality is situated in the immediate vicinity of the National Park Plitvice Lakes, one of the most important tourist destinations in Croatia. The vicinity of the National Park (visited by approximately 1 million tourists a year) has influenced the development of tourism in the Municipality Rakovica. The territory of the Municipality partly borders with Bosnia and Herzegovina. The state road D-217 passes through the Municipality and over the zone Grabovac, and is used as a ring road around the Plitvice Lakes. | |

| Description | Business Zone (total area 3 ha) in the vicinity of the National Park Plitvice Lakes and along the state Road D42 is intended for the construction of production and sales facilities.
The zone is equipped with the necessary infrastructure (roads, water supply and low-voltage network). The Municipality offers to investors building land with the right to build on or to purchase the land. The Municipality offer the investors incentives in the form of lower payments for municipal fees (reduced in the first three financial years), developed municipal infrastructure to the construction site, and the opportunity to offer their products on touristic market since the Municipality of Rakovica is one of the leading inland destinations according to the number of overnights stays because of its position as a part of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. | |
