The retirement home is located 18 km away from Slavonski Brod (70,000 inhabitants) to the West. It is situated on the regional road, 7 km away from the highway Zagreb-Belgrade, on the regional railroad, 160 km away from the center of Zagreb and 100 km from City of Osijek. The distance to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina is 21 km, with Hungary approx. 100 km and with Serbia 125 km. | |

| Description | The project involves the construction of the nursing home for elderly people,with the capacity for 150 users (4 star hotel accomodation). The size of the planned building is 3,350 m2. 25% of the project value has been invested, that amounts to approximately 1m €. All necessary licences have been obtained, foundations of the building (1,100 m2) have been built. As soon as the loan or a partnership is arranged, the construction of the building can be continued and finished in 7 months. All the documentation is owned by the company Stipanetić d.o.o.
Besides the nursing home, additional services are planned to be offered to external clients; that of catering and laundry services. The project should create approximately 30-40 new work places. Detailed information on the project are available in the Investment Study upon request. According to the market research, a need for such a project in Brod-Posavina County has been recognized huge population due to a number of elderly people in this region without an appropriate accommodation and care. There is a substantial demand for such institutions in Croatia, and future partners have an opportunity to continue with investing in similar projects in other parts of Croatia. The project is located in the area of special state concern that gives a possibility for receiving benefits like non refundable funds from Croatian government and EU funds. Also, a preliminary study for the construction of solar power plant and plant for hot water heating has been made. | |
